About the speaker

I am working as an Emergency Medicine trainee in Wales, and am the only international graduate out of the 13 inducted last year in the Emergency medicine training program. I have worked as a junior surgical doctor overseas and switched to EM 3 years ago when I came to the UK, and I’m currently working towards my fellowship of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine.
Life has its own ways of showing us who we are. In the event of facing adversity and only in our darkest moments we can shine and show our true colours. It is how we respond to these toughest moments of life is what makes us who we are. I was one of the many doctors who treated patients of the Manchester Arena attack last year and the experience helped me define me, who I am, and what I was destined to do.
