Eleanor Mawson

About the speaker

I’m a PhD student at the Cardiff University Neuroscience and Mental Health Innovation Institute researching the role of voltage gated calcium channels in the learning and memory problems that commonly accompany psychosis. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Newcastle University in 2020, and my MSc in Brain Sciences at the University of Glasgow in 2021. I’m currently in my 2nd year of PhD research studies and hope to pursue a research career in psychiatric neuroscience after completing my PhD.
