About the speaker
I am director of my own company, Lles Cyf. this was founded to create a commercial benefit for businesses who offer Welsh language services but also to encourage Welsh in business and to promote its use on a daily basis, making it more visible and used. I am also the Director of Pïoden, a social media management company.
I grew up in a Welsh family on a farm in S.West England and in a market town called Axminster. I left to play rugby in Australia, and then my return worked for Whitbread Plc in London before heading back home to Wales to join up with Pontypridd u21’s in 2000. I also attended Uni to study Welsh contemporary society and history and went on to study for a MSc in Community Regeneration and worked in the regeneration field for a decade. I live with my two daughters and wife in Penderyn. I have learnt Welsh as an adult and have never spoken to my children in English. I am passionate about passing on the gift of learning the language to others as it has irreversibly enriched my life.
