About the speaker

From a wasted youth in punk bands, to fourteen years of production and recording as Underpass, via Radio One Evening Sessions and DJ support from the likes of Annie Mac and Bass Junkie, to being a founding member of the then fledgling (now multiple award-winning) NSBRadio.co.uk internet radio station, co-running Cardiff electro night Machine Meadow, making library music for Shutterstock and Getty Images as well as video production and various accidental bits of design work, life has never been quiet. Expect more music, more ideas and more nonsense.
The humble Camouflage pattern as seen on Army Uniforms, teenage punks, high fashion brands, headphones, skateboards and even gaffer tape seems as obvious as it is ubiquitous now, but it’s history and origins are a lot more complex than you would think, and its journey from the trenches of World War One to the catwalk has not been a straightforward or easy one.
